Welcome to Almond RC!

Almond Riding Club of West Lothian is affiliated to the  BHS Riding Clubs  - Area 1 which covers Southern Scotland from East to West coast and the Borders. We currently have approx 200 members and are one of the few remaining clubs in Area 1 who still cater for Junior members.    Based in West Lothian the club holds regular competitions and training days at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre (SNEC).

We cater for all levels of ability. Our members range from new, first time horse owners looking for friendly encouraging social meetings and informal training sessions and competitions to those competing in BRC Area Qualifier Teams and  also out competing at affiliated level in their chosen disciplines including BD, BE, BS, Driving, Showing,TREC and Vaulting!

Members enjoy the chance to meet other horse owners in the area, to make new friends, get encouragement and support to help them fully enjoy their horses. Flatwork sessions start from intro level and jumping from poles on the ground.  There is something for everyone!!

We regularly field  teams and individuals at the Area 1 qualifiers and have had riders and teams regularly qualify for the BRC National Championships most years. Riders travel to the BRC Summer National Championships at Lincoln, the  Intermediate Dressage Team Championships at Bury Farm , Buckinghamshire, Arena UK  and back to Bury Farm  for the Dressage to Music Championships.

There are so many ways you can  get involved and help support the club.

Almond RC welcomes new members who are keen to be active members of this fantastic club!!
